LCA4Climate will participate in the 2019 Barcelona Science Festival
Researchers from the UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change ESCI-UPF will deliver talks to the public in the 2019 edition of the Barcelona Science Festival, in the framework of the Barcelona Ciència programme.
Dr Alba Bala will give insight into the newest economic paradigm: the circular economy. She will explain why is it called to be the future standard and the changes this will mean in our daily life. Afterwards, Laura Battle will give us advice on how to reach not only a healthy diet but also more environmentally friendly.
The programme Barcelona Ciència is the city initiative to foster scientific knowledge and engage the overall cityzenship in its progress. Barcelona Ciència invites everybody to participate and raise their voice in the palnning, processes and results of scientific research under ethical criteria like transparency, equality or open access to knowledge. With this vision, the city lays out a scenario in which science and society meet to engage into a fruitful conversation to understand each other and move forward. A common effort to face both the local and global challenges of the XXIst century.
